The Network license needs a server program in addition to the client program. The server program is installed on a server computer. The client program is installed on the users' computers. All computers should be connected to each other within a local area network.
A dongle key should be attached to the server computer. Every time CubeMaster client opens, it sends the digital key entered by a user to the server program. If the digital key is verified by the server program, the client program will start. If the digital key is being used by other users, the server program denies the access of the digital key and the client program will ask a user for a new digital key. Or a user needs to wait until the digital key become available.
One digital key (one license) is allowed to be shared by max 3 computers at the different time. In other words, one digital key (one license) is not allowed to be used at the same time.
The software vendor or organization sets up a license server that manages and controls the distribution of licenses. The license server keeps track of the number of available licenses and grants access to users who request them.
License Pool: The network license includes a specific number of licenses that can be used simultaneously. For example, if a network license has 10 seats, it means that up to 10 users can access the software concurrently.
